ABOUT ME
I am 20 years old, and was born and raised in Orange County, California. I have always been an avid gamer and started exploring game design in elementary school. I started out with Blizzard's StarCraft Campaign Editor, learning how to create interesting levels, detailing with doodads, and using triggers to activate waves of enemies. After working with a 2D RTS editor, I moved onto NovaLogic's Delta Force 2 Mission Editor. I learned how to work with 3D environments and use prefabs to decorate the levels. During High school, I moved onto the GoldSrc engine and started developing levels with the Valve Hammer Editor 3.4/3.5 for Half Life modifications, and learned to use BSP based brushwork to create my levels. Shortly after, Half-Life 2 was released and I have been working with Hammer 4.0 ever since. Currently, I am working on a Half-Life 2 modification called Firearms: Source, a sequel to the original Firearms mod for Half-Life. When I am not making levels, I am trying to learn more about other areas of game development, like modeling, animating, and texture creation. I am also using my computer programming knowledge to explore game programming.
